Withdrawal form
Under European consumer law, the right of withdrawal (often called the "cooling-off period") gives consumers a mandatory 14-day window to cancel online, phone, or off-premises purchases. You can return items or cancel services for any reason without justification or penalty.
How the Cooling-Off Period Works
- Timeframe: 14 days. For goods, it begins the day you receive the item. For services or digital content, it begins on the day the contract is concluded.
- Cancellation Process: You must explicitly notify the seller using the Withdraw Order link in the footer.
- Refunds: Swordschool must refund all payments (including standard delivery costs) within 14 days of receiving your cancellation. However, you are generally responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.
- Failure to Inform: If the trader does not inform you of your right of withdrawal, your cancellation period is legally extended by 12 months.
Exemptions
Not all purchases are eligible for this right. Exemptions include:
- Custom-made or personalized goods
- Digital content if the download/streaming has already begun with your prior express consent, and you acknowledged you would lose the right of withdrawal.
