Chaque famille a des proches un peu gênants… Il s’avère que les miens sont des morts-vivants.

Ma grand-mère, Agnès Bartlett, gérait de son vivant la boutique Tricotti Tricotta à Oxford, qu’elle m’a léguée à son décès sans me préciser qu’en réalité, elle n’était pas vraiment morte. C’est un vampire, maintenant, et elle fait partie du cercle de tricot le plus saugrenu du monde : Le Club des Vampires Tricoteurs.

Comme vous l’imaginez, cela signifie qu’elle est libre d’intervenir dans ma gestion de la boutique qui lui appartenait autrefois. Elle essaie de m’apprendre à tricoter, et le moins que l’on puisse dire, c’est que ça ne se passe pas très bien. Elle essaie aussi de m’apprendre à devenir une sorcière, puisqu’il s’avère que je descends d’une longue lignée de sorcières ‒ un autre détail au sujet de ma famille et dont personne ne m’avait jamais parlé, sans oublier la cousine sorcière dont je viens tout juste de découvrir l’existence.

Mais j’apprends peu à peu. J’ai mon grimoire de famille, mon chat noir attitré, des pouvoirs qui m’effraient encore, et un groupe intéressant de nouveaux amis.

Mes parents archéologues viennent me rendre visite et m’apportent un cadeau dont je me serais bien passée.

Alors maintenant, je gère une boutique de tricot sans savoir tricoter. Je suis une sorcière débutante incapable de contrôler son propre chat, sans compter sa magie, et ma vie amoureuse est aussi emmêlée que la dernière chaussette que j’ai essayé de tricoter. Oh, et pour une raison quelconque, je me retrouve constamment impliquée dans des enquêtes pour meurtre. Heureusement que j’ai mes vampires tricoteurs pour m’aider à trouver des indices…

Au moins, j’ai enfin réussi à embaucher l’assistante idéale, une vraie diablesse en matière de crochets. À moins qu’elle ne soit un peu trop parfaite ?

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes!

We're able to print and ship worldwide to all countries which are not currently embargoed by the UK Government. Our printers offer a range of tracked and untracked services to help get your books to the right destination.

EU customers:

For orders exceeding €150, import VAT and customs duty procedures apply and the shipment falls under the normal EU customs-duty rules, meaning customs duty may be charged according to the product’s tariff classification, alongside import VAT.

For orders less than €150, the price you pay at checkout already includes the VAT at the rate applicable in your country. 

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout, as it depends on what you order.

How long will it take to receive my book?

It depends on where you live. I’m an independent author, so I can’t offer next day delivery. Please be patient with our delivery partners.

All of my books are printed and shipped on demand by BookVault, who are based in the UK and the US.

Within the US, orders will be shipped within 5 days and delivered by USPS/UPS. At busy times, delivery may take up to 14 days.

For shipments in the UK, our printers use Royal Mail, FedEx & UPS and are usually shipped within 72 hours.

For shipments anywhere else, our printers ship by FedEx or The Delivery Group and delivery may take up to 14 days.  

For shipping to Europe, our books are printed in the UK and orders can get held up at customs. We strongly recommend you choose a tracked shipping option, otherwise we will not be able to find out where your order is if it is delayed. 

Audiobooks

How will I receive my audiobook?

As soon as your order is confirmed you will receive an email from BookFunnel with a link to your audiobook(s). It should arrive at almost the same time as your confirmation email from this store.

If you haven’t received your email containing your audiobooks within ten minutes, please check your spam folder.

How do I listen to my audiobook?

Your audiobook will come as a digital download. (We don't offer CDs.)

You can listen on any device of your choosing, including in the car, using the Bookfunnel app, or their cloud player in your normal internet browser. When you buy an audiobook you'll receive an email with all the instructions you need.

It's super easy to use!
